Single Lock was dreamt up in 2013 and in the time since, we’ve released nearly 50 records that don’t fit neatly into a specific category. Our goal is to gather and release an interesting and accurate collection of the best of Southern American music.
Our home base is Florence/Muscle Shoals, Alabama, a historic place that values great songs and great musicians. We strive to uphold that standard.
In 2020, we opened an office in New Orleans, Louisiana. We also responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by establishing the Advocacy Fund for Alabama Musicians, distributing over $30,000 in no-strings-attached relief grants to Alabama musicians (so far).
